Therapy can benefit anyone who is experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed. You don't have to face life's challenges alone. Therapy provides a safe, supportive space to gain insight, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward the life you want to create.

No. Seeking therapy is a sign of strength, not weakness. Just as we care for our physical health, our emotional well-being also deserves attention. Therapy can help you develop healthier coping skills, improve relationships, process difficult experiences, and create a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Many people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that's completely normal. Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to achieve. There is no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Once your first appointment is scheduled, you will receive a secure email with your new client paperwork to complete before your session. These forms include informed consent, privacy practices (HIPAA), office policies, and other documents required to begin treatment.
You will also be asked to complete brief questionnaires that assess symptoms such as anxiety and depression. These screenings provide valuable information about your current concerns and help establish a baseline so we can monitor your progress throughout therapy.
The paperwork is designed to help you understand your rights and responsibilities as a client, protect your privacy, and provide important information that allows me to better understand your needs before we meet. Completing these forms prior to your appointment allows us to spend more of our time together focusing on you, your concerns, and your treatment goals.
